This Blog is dedicated to the T-Mobile HD2 and the installation of Android on the device.

I just picked up one of these today for $99 w/ a 2-yr contract. I’ve been with T-Mobile for 7-Years now and I have an older plan that isnt even available anymore. I pay $69/mo for 1000 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, myfaves and unlimited text and Internet.

It comes with WinMo 6.5 so I’m going to install Android. XDA Developers have been working on this project since at least march of this year. Could these two together make the ultimate value price/power combo in smartphone/handheld computing?

I’m sure that will depend not only on your preferences for a phone but also for a carrier. Personally I favor T-Mobile so it just remains to be seen if this HD2 will live up to my expectations once I start running it through it’s paces.

Here are the sources of information that I have so far. As I work through the process I will create a list of the steps necessary to install Android.
